About school

What do we offer?

1. Individual approach to pupils.
2. Age mixed groups (older pupils help the younger ones) - projects, topic workshops etc.
3. Possibilities of so-called home schooling.
4. Creative learning – project work, problem teaching, thematic teaching.
5. Methods RWCT (Reading and writing to critical thinking), a method by M. Montessori, flowing reading etc.
6. Year-round motivation topic.
7. Verbal evaluation and grading, regular self-evaluation of pupils.
8. English language from the 1st year of lower primary school.
9. Regular parent meetings and personal consultation (pupil – teacher – parent).
10. Hobby clubs: pottery, singing, English etc.
11. Stays in nature (a bonding stay at the begging of school year, then a week stay at the end of the school year).
12. Trips, school celebrations (Advent, Christmas, Easter),excursions, interviews with interesting people.
13. Constantly educated pedagogical staff and also non-pedagogical staff

15. Classrooms are equipped by teaching aids, books, dictionaries, encyclopaedias, atlases, computer teaching programmes, literature, furthermore there is even a classroom for arts and crafts and music. There is a beautiful garden.

• We regularly receive grants mainly to support environmental education
• We involve general public in projects – parents and village inhabitants
• We modernize the classrooms ( new school furniture, interactive boards, teaching aids, kitchen, pottery classroom)
• we organize interesting seminars for pedagogues and general public
• we help others (support of disabled children, adoption of animals in a ZOO, singing to senior citizens etc.)

Timetable of a common school day

6:50 – 7.45 a.m. morning school club
8:00 – 10.30 a.m. lessons according to school timetable
10.30 – 11:00 a.m. a big break (possibility to stay in the school garden, in a school gym, in a classroom)
11:00 – 12.45 p.m. Lessons according to school timetable
12:50 – 1:30 p.m. lunch in a school canteen
1:30 – 4:00 p.m. school club, hobby clubs (from October)
